BMJ Hookers Headboard is a tip-up that uses a medium action jig pole's own power to set the hook, when a fish grabs the hook and pulls on the line. The Headboard has a trigger that is on a retractable string that retracts into the board for tangle free storage. The trigger can be pulled out and adapt to most jig poles of various lengths. The Headboard is one of the most adaptable tip-ups on the market for various species of fish. The retractable string allows you to adjust the tension of the pole, which will increase or decrease the power at which the hook is set. The trigger sensitivity can also easily be adjusted from hard to super sensitive just by bending the pin on the trigger ever so slightly. Both of these adjustments can be made without the use of any tools.
